After working at a design firm and a record company, he began working as a freelance illustrator.
His unique style of illustrations expresses a distinctive worldview in the pop and fashion world. While working on cover illustrations for outdoor magazines and other publications, as well as for books, advertisements, TV , and the web , his love of sushi led him to collaborate with Sentinel Co., Ltd. to create the illustrations for Sushi L-A, a pop- style soft vinyl sushi monster.
